The experience
Experience Lofoten at its wildest on a 7-day winter sailing adventure from Svolvær to Bodø, exploring snow-covered mountains, remote fishing villages and dramatic Arctic fjords. Sail south through Lofoten and Steigen during one of the most atmospheric times of year, when the crowds disappear, the mountains are covered in snow, and the low Arctic sun transforms the landscape. Along the way, experience traditional winter cod fishing, hike remote islands, explore Trollfjorden and cross the legendary Vestfjorden. This is a hands-on sailing adventure. With guidance from an experienced skipper, you’ll learn to steer, handle sails and become part of the crew while navigating through the changing conditions of the Norwegian winter. After dark, remote harbours and anchorages offer another possibility: watching the Northern Lights dance above the mountains, far from the light pollution of the cities.
